I`m a lifelong gamer, and enjoy many genres.
In 2008 I started downsizing my games to a more manageable size, so I put most my wargame armies away and went back to an early passion of mine - skirmish wargaming. The lack of space caused by my ridiculously huge collection of miniatures, terrain, rule books and supplement manuals, meant I simply could no longer comfortably contemplate keeping everything any longer, so I started giving away and selling off lots of stuff, I boxed up the rest, filled the attic to full capacity... and sighed an enormous sigh of relief (a bit like Bilbo Baggins giving up the ring).
Skirmish gaming means I can now play complete, awesome looking battles on a far smaller playing area, and I can still collect figures in 28mm scale without having to take over the house with my `toys`.
This blog is all about semi-rpg skirmish style games in three fairly different unique settings. The first two are almost brother and sister of the same genre: Victorian Steampunk, and 20` 30`s Pulp era campaign gaming. The third is Post Apocalyptic Zombie wargaming in a world gone to hell.
